where am i supposed to watch GB videos? they don't seem to post them on giantbomb.com anymore? i used to watch them on twitch but they're not there anymore? sometimes they're on youtube?

i just wish they would make it clear where they're supposed to be found, and be consistent about it.

edit: ok i found upf. silly me i was on their youtube page and kept checking the "Videos" tab and saw nothing new. it was posted under "Live". it shouldn't be this much working checking 3 different sites just to find their content.

I looked at the Videos page yesterday and thought they'd taken the week off from UPF. Thanks!

Yeah GB started restreaming their Twitch streams to Youtube a month or two ago so a lot of videos are now under the live banner. I was confused about this at first too until I figured it out. It's stupid that Youtube doesn't let you just combine the live and videos tabs.

I can definitely understand why GB do this though. Lots of streamers I know are starting to also stream to Youtube since it brings in more views and allows channels with big followings to take advantage of their pre-existing Youtube audience to also become their stream audience. For GB, the Youtube live Game Mess Mornings viewership has been steadily growing and is getting close to their Twitch numbers now. Even some smaller streamers I know are now starting to pull in almost as many people on Youtube Live as they do on Twitch.

I've started watching more live stuff on Youtube than Twitch because it allows you to rewind if you miss something. Well, that and Twitch's ads are getting so obnoxious.

@sombre: I’m sure they want to, and in fact wish they hadn’t had to say goodbye to Jess and Jason. I just don’t think the overlords give a shit. 2 fewer employers = growth to their mathematically impaired moneybro brains.

@sombre: I don't think Fandom gives a shit. If they did, the video player wouldn't still be broken after literal months of waiting. At this point GB is at a similar point as Waypoint was in the end: there's literally no way to show you support them that'll make the big wigs care.

@sombre: @tartyron: @retris: As per Jeff B. during a Q&A, the VODs that are still not on the site have been, or are getting, ID'd for copywritten audio so that's why they are turned off for now or not on YouTube or the site. Staff and Fandom are working on resolving the issue and getting them turned back on, but some may require edits or revisions.
